When I finally get my tipi I’m going to need a sustainable fuel for heating and cooking. And so I got to thinking about a solution. I found an interesting idea on the internet and decided to give it a shot. You will need 2 buckets one must fit snugly inside the other.
Place the holes bucket inside the other and start filling with scrap paper anything from pizza flyers toilet rolls newspapers all the crap that gets delivered through your door basically including the council tax bill ;-)
When the bin is full fill it ¾ with water and leave 24 hours

Now you will need some sort of blender, I made one using a chicken skewer from a bbq kit and an electric drill although I think an old circular saw blade welded to the metal pole will be much more effective next time, then blend to a pulp.
It isn’t dry yet and the true test will be in the burning which I will post I’m advised you need a good fire going before you add your homemade fuel otherwise it will just smoulder, I’m interested in the amount of smoke it may cause but we will see.
And finally those following this blog will know that berry my darker chicken was on a route to the dinner table but she layed this morning hooray 2 laying chucks happy days……..
